About

Back in 2013, age 30, I was a keen footballer and sportsman, trying to squeeze a multitude of physical activities around my high stress and time consuming finance job in the city. Whilst going through some physio for a footballing injury, I started experiencing some unsettling symptoms whilst engaging in simple day to day tasks and took myself off to get some tests. After numerous pokes, prods, tests, scans, procedures etc I received a pretty terrifying diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis with a bleak prognosis for the future and minimal conventional medical options available.

With a young family, I refused to give up hope and took the decision to embark on a path of discovery around what health truly is. Starting with lifestyle changes gave me a new relationship with food and new forms of exercise (yoga, running) and a daily meditation practice. At the time, this felt like radical change… but it was only just the beginning.

Over the years I’ve continued to explore varied ways to aid healing within the body, incorporating a truly holistic approach to recovery. It has involved much unlearning; the shedding of preconceptions around health and wellbeing and the acceptance of taking steps forwards and backwards on the healing journey. Relearning how to connect with the body, something that has taken much time and patience and continues to this day.

Over the last 12 years I’ve worked with numerous healing modalities as part of my journey for continuous improvement including Reiki, Kambo, Ultra Running, Breathwork, Cold Water Immersion, Yoga, Acupuncture, Talking Therapy, Sound Healing, Neurofeedback Therapy etc.

No longer being able to play football and contact sports in general, I figured I could get out and run (it cost nothing and I could do it on my own). I pretty quickly fell in love and many years later after informally supporting friends and family on their own running journeys, I eventually studied for my run coach qualification under England Athletics and am now a fully qualified as a run coach. Supporting people who want to take up running for the first time, get back in to running or experience runners wanting to improve their PBs, techniques etc.

Reiki was one of the earlier therapies that I engaged with, the calming of the nervous system and restorative effects that I experienced following Reiki sessions eventually led me to explore the practice beyond being a recipient. The Reiki precepts are now part of my daily life and following studying under Torsten Lange qualified Reiki Master & Teacher some years ago.

Kambo was something I decided to experience following much reading on the ancient medicine. Following extensive work with Kambo as a recipient, where I felt deep shifts in my mental and emotional state, I took the decision to train under the tutelage of Natalie Mcintosh to gain practitioner level qualifications in Trauma Informed Kambo (TIK) and now offer Kambo ceremonies from my home clinic in Islington.

Both in person Reiki treatments and Kambo Ceremonies are offered from a calm home clinic in Islington, North London. Reiki treatments can also be offered a ‘Distance Reiki’ allowing people to receive their treatment from the comfort of their own homes if they are unable to travel to my home clinic.
